Valve adjustment info needed!

Hi all, I have a 96 mercury villager van automatic 6 cylinders with 140K miles on it. I’m planning to do some valve adjustment this weekend but I don’t know how big or small the intake and exhaust gap should be. This car had the hood replaced longtime ago and I couldn’t find any info on it. I look into my Haynes manual and couldn’t find it either. Could you please let me know how big the intake and exhaust gap should be if you know it?
