Valve Adjustment and Lower Seal Quote

I got quoted $670.00 plus tax to get a valve adjustment and lower seal change on my 1997 Honda Accord LX 2.2l 4cyl SOHC 158,000. Am i being ripped off by this?

Don’t forget the black oil resistant silicon on the valve cover gasket.

oh yeah you getting ripped off BIG TIME I did my accord 05 only took me about 1.5 hours just follow eric Video posted above. Only thing you need to get is the valve cover gasket sometimes honda call it cylinder cover gasket.And you get the tool from amazon for less than 20 dollars.

Lower seal you mean crankshaft seal?

Yes, the seals under the crankshaft, in his video he refers to them as lower seals i think, either way the ones you replace when you have oil in your spark plug wells.
