      when should i do a valve adjustment my engine is a D16Y7 or do i even need to

        I don’t think there’s any specific mileage and whatnot that’s factory recommended… to the best of my knowledge. However you can go through and re-torque the bolts on your rocker arms whenever you like to make sure everything is to factory spec.

            Valve adjustments are not for the inexperienced. You can make things much worse if they aren’t adjusted correctly. In fact, you can burn up your valves. That said, if there’s no noise, I would leave them be.
