few months ago i replaced the thermostat and upper radiator hose, then a week later the head gasket gave out (unrelated with the cooling system) then i had time a few days ago to fix the car everything great no problems. also i put in a new water pump and it doesn’t overheat, but i noticed today the upper radiator hose was inflated, so i opened the radiator cap to release the pressure and water went into the canister. what can be the problem? Ps. i replaced every single gasket in and around the engine.

If the hose is ballooning, then it is in need of replacement. When did you last replace the coolant hoses? Hoses go bad.
Did you mix the coolant wrong? If you have boiling liquid inside of a sealed container, it will cause a massive increase in pressure (Its a fire-science thing for us firefighters, Boiling Liquid Expansion Vapor Explosion or BLEVE).
dang, i did but i only used a quart of green coolant, then i used a gallon of universal coolant that said “for all makes and models”
correct the coolant issue.bleed the system of air.Also
replace the radiator cap with the correct pressure rating.There is suppose to be pressure on the system and there will be after the engine warms up. The first thing that came to my mind was did you bleed the cooling system? If not start with that and see what you get.

-33.3i did everything but no luck, i also bought another set of radiator hoses and a new radiator cap but it hasn’t changed, now there’s a completely new problem. there’s no spark. (new topic i started)
I had last summer an upper hose inflated because my thermostat located in my lower was not opening. You really need to change your thermostat because your upper hose will continue to inflate because you liquid is stunk in this hose until the thermostat opening.

I don’t think the thermostat has anything to do with the upper radiator hose inflating. The most likely cause is the part you used. As I said in the last post the upper hose is the one that takes the hot water to the radiator and as a result it will fatigue much faster than the lower hose. I will say that it is possible there is some other issue causing the upper hose to fail prematurely. I’ve seen head gasket failures cause the hoses to break down too soon. This video shows how to check for a head gasket issue. I can’t stress enough how important it is to properly bleed the cooling system however. That is the #1 cause of cooling system problems.
