Updates on my car

Well since the new site is in play I did loose some posts which was expected.

So this post isn’t a repair question but to tell you all the update about my 03 Cavalier. Some may remember I was having high Revving after doing a head replacement.

Well Car has been running great. The problem that was causing the high revving was the injectors. I was missing the seals/seats that actually go into the head. I bought a set of new o’rings and the seats and started her up and ran just fine.

That same day ran into another problem with oil pressure. My keyway and oil pump snapped in half so this time had a mechanic take care of the problem. I just know next time the guy that helped me out I’m not trusting him again.

So It has been nearly a week since I’ve been driving my car and I’m having a blast with this car. I enjoy driving it and I also want to say thank you to all of those that have helped me out. If there was anything I could do I would do it.

Eric your awesome dude. Site looks great and thanks for your help too. Now in the mean time I have some small things to fix which is simple for me. I’m thinking that I might upload some pics and a video on Youtube.

Glad you got it sorted out. Vacuum leaks often cause a high idle like that so well done resolving that issue. It’s also good to hear you didn’t have fix the oil pump problem, engines need oil no doubt about it.

Today I actually trusted my car. Its been running great so I thought I would push a bit today. I’ve actually been driving around since 9am this morning paying bills and what not. The whole time driving its been great. I have one more fix and that is my coolant. Nothing wrong just need a complete coolant change. So today has been a great day.

Here in a bit after a hair cut I will post that video on youtube of the car. I will post it in here too so you all can see it.
