      The short of it is that on a fuel injected car with air in the system it will ‘fool’ the coolant temp sensor and cause the fluctuating idle.

          If there is indeed air in the cooling system. water will not move_x000D_
          with air in the system. its like the water hit a brick wall._x000D_

            If you decide to re-bleed the cooling system, i would also massage the radiator hoses too to see if that will help._x000D_
