You need to put a valve stem in, it probably pushed up when it’s reached the trip level, and then the air pushes the chuck off.

so its not possible to fill up a tyre to the point they pop?

I would have the valve stem replaced.

It is possible to have a tire pop. If there is any damage to the tire. It will make it easier for the tire to pop. I recommend putting a new valve stem in then keeping the tires inflated to the dealer specified pressure.

Or… try and remove the valve core and replace it with a new core.

Dealer specific pressure lol that is 30psi i always been told do 32 and i do 35 in winter. My grandpa told me a mechanic said the car manufactures always have the tyre pressure ratings too low for a “softer” ride and to always use 32 psi.

That sounds like a valve issue as pointed out. I’ve never heard of a tire rejecting air at a given pressure.
