I have a gmc silverado truck 1994 with a 350 5.7 engine. And it’s time for a tune up. I got a cap and rotor from napa with the brass. My spark plug wires are recently new so thats done . My question is to you knowledge people is napa cap and rotor good quality in your opinion.? And as far as spark plugs i go with acdelco stock. The engine has 300 grand on it and should i go with a different plug? And how often should you change the cap and rotor? Thanks

If it were my truck, I would have used AC/Delco cap and rotor, but the Napa parts should be just fine. You should continue, and always, use the OEM spark plug. The electronics and engineering were built around the properties and characteristics of the OEM plug. A long time ago before engines had sophisticated electronics, one could experiment with different plugs and go up and down on the heat ranges. It is foolish to do that on modern engines, and can cause damage in some cases. I usually clean the cap/rotor at every oil change to prevent carbon tracks, and replace as needed, not at any particular interval.

Napa is usually good stuff. seeing you got the brass even better.
cap and rotor every 25-30k Just keep using the stock Delcos. 🙂
