I have an issue with my truck slightly noticeable jumping when it shifts (mostly around 2nd gear). I recently had the valve body replaced by GM.
The truck has 235, 000 miles on it. The transmission was totally rebuilt at 160,000 miles and the valve body replaced at 225,000 miles. I assume that GM flushed the transmission fluid out and now the new fluid and old parts are causing some slippage. Would adding some conditioner to the transmission oil to make it thicker like it was help the issue at hand? Would the toque converter be causing the jumping problem. It has never been replaced (235,00 miles on it).
