If you turn the key from off to on (without cranking) can you hear the pump run for a couple of seconds? If so, check that there isn’t a kink or blockage in the fuel lines.
If it doesn’t run when you turn the key on, check that you are getting 12v and ground to the pump. You can use a test light or multimeter at the wire harness connection to the pump and watch while a helper turns the key on. You should see battery voltage for approx 2 secs. Then have helper crank the engine. You should again see battery voltage while cranking. If you cannot see voltage, then there is an electrical fault such as blown fuse, bad fuel pump relay, or damaged wiring.
If you did see voltage, then the electrical connection on the pump itself could have an issue, or you could have gotten a bad pump. If you used an aftermarket pump that required splicing wires, recheck your work. While the pump is out for re-checking the connection, take the pump where you can apply 12v and ground directly to it to make sure the pump runs. I always power test the pump on the workbench before installing it into the tank because I have seen bad pumps come out of the box.
Once you verify the fuses, relays, wiring, electrical connections, and that the pump works, reassemble everything and it should be all good.
