Hello grease heads, I’m having diffaculty removing my transmission from my 07 chevy impala ss 5.3. I have removed every bolt and I have separated the bell house about 1/4 of an inch is there any good way to separate the transmission other than just man handling it or prying on it to remove it? And before anyone say I forgot I bolt yes everything is removed nothing is holding it in other than what appears to be a guide pin it got too dark for me to continue trying to get it out so idk if its hitting anything on the way out but from what I could see at the time nothing was in the way. I got the shift link removed the 5 bell housing screws removed and the support bracket on the passinger side removed. The torque converter bolts are also removed. If anyone removed a transmission before can give me some pointer I would appreciate it because I’m now beginning to get frustrated after doing all this work to get to the transmission to have it only separated a 1/4 of an inch
