Hey ERICTHECARGUY!!!! First off in love with the videos. Just wanted to make a suggestion on maybe some upcoming videos that would be SO helpful for a lot of people out there like me coming into the automotive field. I started doing automotive a few months ago and fell in love i bought a 1987 IROC-Z camaro. Long story short blew the engine up and did all the research to do a TPI to Carb swap by myself (well with some help from some forum members of course). I was thinking there has to be plenty of people out there doing these swaps that would love to have worked on by the one and only ERICTHECARGUY! I honestly think it would make a amazing video to see you going from TPI to Carb and showing us how you do the geometry for your throttle and TV cables and wiring and everything like a true professional! There isnt one video out there that could make it as clear as you can thats for sure! Just a suggestion…would love to see you do a TPI to carb engine swap with a TRANSAM or the pre 92 camaros! Also maybe some more videos that are fuel related having to do with carburetors and mechanical fuel pumps since i know you love doing it anyways! But yeah I honestly would love to see how you would do the TPI to Carb since mostly this involves taking out the ECM and having to rewire things like the intank fuel pump, distributor, oh and i know you could even redo it to make it run on factory gauges! You would really be setting the bar for all of us Third generation lovers out there. As for me im 19 and learned all on my own which took me weeks to find the information but with the potential behind the video you can make it would help people like me do it in just days!! Again thanks for all the support within the field you have helped me a lot and yeah ill stay dirty! Lol.

P.S There is literally no in depth videos on the internet regarding this swap and even though some wiring may be different in other models mostly all are the same idea from my understandings.

Tpi L98 engines are far superior to carbed ones. This would be counter productive. If you blew up your injected engine you would be best off to repair with Oem tpi parts as the factory intended.

Well when these engines go they go. Mine actually blew 2 holes in the oil pan and ruined both the heads and the block so yeah. And many people do decide to throw in a carburetor…even though they are less proficient its a common swap. Altogether it would just be for informational purposes which like i said many could benefit from. Even if its a upgrade from a 305 TPI to a 350 TPI or something even bigger…that would be….awesome!

Honestly, it’s not likely I’ll be doing a video of this type anytime soon. Partly because I’d need someone looking to do that swap and the time to shoot the video. Also, I have quite a bit lined up with the fairmont project and FiF in the coming year. Therefore I don’t feel I’d be able to commit to a video of this type.

If the time and opportunity present themselves, I’ll consider it though.

            Thanks again for the suggestion.
