A video of the white smoke would be helpful with this situation. Is this white smoke appearing once you first start the truck or is it appearing after a short drive?

I hate to say a blown H/G because i really doubt its that. Is there any leaks? Have someone rev the engine (make sure its warm) and look at the exhaust if more smoke appears you may have a problem. If no smoke comes though, have a friend put the car in drive keep their foot on the brake while the foots on the brake and rev it to about 1.7k 2k. this will put a load on the engine. Or an easier way would be to take the radiator cap off and start the engine if coolent shoots out all over the place the H/G is toast.

there is no external leaks of coolant any were that i can see. i tried to take a video of it but the smoke hardly shows up. but when i push harder on the gas more smoke comes out. but if i hold the throttle open the smoke seems to go away

Ok, open the rad cap and take a good smell if you smell exhaust its the H/G. does the exhaust coming from the muffler smell sort of sweet? Get in there and take a good smell if need be. Take your finger and run it on the inside of the muffler is your finger clean? or is there a bit of residue on it or is it really dirty?
