Hi Eric, I have recently purchased a new car. It is a 2004 Toyota Corolla Runx Z. It currently has 79,900km on the clock. I have just done a service which included: Air Filter, Oil & Filter, Cabin Filter and Inspection of the Iridium Spark Plugs. I was interested to know about the Transmission filter replacement, as I have heard that changing the fluid in the Transmission is a risk. However I was unsure if that was only relevant to high mileage vehicles. Looking at the condition of the fluid on the dipstick, it is still a clean red color. If I was to change the Transmission filter and fluid am I better to do it when the transmission is in a good clean state where the fluid is clean? As I would like to keep my Transmission in good shape its whole life. Or would you recommend not touching it at all?
Many Thanks
