      2004 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder

Hello, I have a problem with the cooling system. The antifreeze from the radiator goes to the reservoir tank and fills it up after driving the car for about 40 miles. I did a test and the water is not going to the motor. I also replaced the water pump and radiator cap. I also flushed the cooling system and “burped” it with the special spill-free funnel. There is also a water sloshing sound that appears to be coming from behind the dash. I am not sure if this is related but i did attempt to clear out the a/c drain hose but it came out dry and no water came out the evaporator. I inserted a screwdriver inside the evaporator and it came out dry. The a/c does not drain at all and the a/c has moments where it works fine and blows cool air then all of a sudden its not as cold then goes back to cooling again.

I want to know what are the signs of a bad radiator and how this problem with the antifreeze going to the reservoir and the sloshing sound can be fixed. I feel i have tried everything but the problem persists.

I will appreciate any and all comments that will assist me in fixing this problem. Thank you all for your time. :cheer:

          Couple of questions.

Is the vehicle overheating. What is the gauge telling you.

Does the fluid from the reservoir get sucked back in the system after the car has cooled (overnight)

When you bled the system did you have the heat on on high and the vehicle running. The sloshing sounds like it may be from the heater core. Probably not ac related.

Also the ac may not function properly if the vehicle is overheating. The condenser gets too hot, but this can be caused by other things and putting a proper ac manifold gauge on it is the only way to check…
