      Hi All truck temp only reading 1/4 where used to be 1/2 changed thermostat still same can temp sending be causing this also looks like have pinhole on top of radiator could this also be the problem Thank

        Unplug the temp sensor and ground it. Then turn the key on without starting it.
        The gauge should go full hot. due this just to see the gauge raise. If the gauge
        does go to full hot replace the temp sensor. Be sure that you did burp the cooling
        system.

              Remove any air in the cooling system. Otherwise you won’t have solid water
              from air pockets and it can affect sensor readings.
