I have really enjoyed the tool videos, both the comparisons on etcg1 as well as the tool reviews! Thanks for all of the effort! As my tool collection grows I have come to the realization that it is impossible to take everything with me. Not the worst problem I suppose B) I just thought a video of what ETCG would have in his emergency tool kit might be a cool video. Obviously you can’t be prepared for everything… but just a list of the basic items one would need. And would this vary based on the type of trip one is making? For example we don’t usually check over our car before driving to work in the same way we would before going on vacation. In the same way, would ETCG include other items for a long distance trip that he would do without on the morning commute? You may have even already covered this and I guess some would consider it common sense. My goal is to eventually avoid loading and unloading my tools or moving them from car to car by building a basic kit for each. Just a thought. Thanks for the site and the videos! I have always like cars but not always had the know how or confidence to work on them. Your videos are easy to understand yet detailed to the point that no step is overlooked as “common knowledge”. They have helped me a lot! We even saved a one of our cars (by changing the cylinder head) that we probably would have gotten rid of otherwise. The trouble shooting steps are also really helpful. Once you learn the process you can apply it to a lot of things. Thanks for all of the input and effort!
