Hello everyone, first post in the forums.

I’m in the market for some new tires and need some suggestions, looking to spend no more then $700 overall. My daily driver is a 2000 GMC Yukon Denali, which requires 265/75/16 size tires. I live in the Tampa Bay area, so I won’t be going through snow much. I would like to find a tire that will do very well on wet roads, heavy rain, hard braking from time to time (idiot drivers) and I also do quite a bit of highway driving. Right now I’m looking into the Firestone Destination LE2 series of tires. Anyone have other suggestions?

I bought some Michelin Premire A/S tires and live in a very rainy climate in Western oregon and I have been happy. There were 650 for everything here and then had a 70 rebate at time.

Checked into those tires, not available in the size I need them. Thank you for the suggestion though!

A lot of the 2016 Yukons were equipped with Goodyear Assurance. I did a quick google and it’s looking in your price range with those, installed and balanced. Stick with Goodyear in Tampa for the Yukon. I’m in Arizona and they paved through our monsoon weather easily. Good luck!
