I have a manual tire changer to remove and mount tires in order to save a bit of money. Last night, I came across a manual tire balancing tool that uses a bullseye level to help you balance a tire. Is there anyone out there that has one of these devices or has used one and can tell me how well they work and whether it is worth purchasing? Thanks.

I wouldn’t count on getting an accurate enough reading to drive the vehicle on the road at speed without vibration. Something like a farm truck, you’d probably never notice. As little as .25 of an ounce can be felt on some applications at highway speed.

I worked at a gas station when I was a teenager . They had one of those devices .

Visually , it appeared to work . Honestly do not know if it worked well or not ?

How much does the machine cost ? Do you have space to store it & the wheel weights ?

          God bless

I think Harvard Freight was advertising it for about $80.00 US. Add shipping and exchange to Can dollars and it would probably be over $100.00. Storage wouldn’t be a problem. Good point about the wheel weights. I’d have to purchase a selection of those along with the tool. Might not be worth it in the end if you can’t get a good balanced tire. Thanks for the input, God Bless.
