1998 odyssey. So vtec 4 cyl accord basically. My question is about timing. I replaced my crankshaft seal. Marked the timing belt/pulleys and then put it back on with the paint marks. I didnt do TDC or anything, is there any reason why thats not ok?
Providing nothing moved during the replacement it should be good …. BUT …. I would bar the engine over twice by hand to make sure there are no clearance issues AND check mechanical timing of TDC on #1 BEFORE attempting to start it.
