      Is it necessary to apply LOCKTITE for the treads of the inner tie rod ? Please let me know. Also, under what circumstance is Locktite absolutely necessary ?

        I’ve read/seen a bunch of people who put blue loctite onto the threads that go into the rack but never on the adjusting sleeve for obvious reasons. Also, I think that the inner tie rod has a locking plate that keeps the inner tie rod connected to the rack.

          I don’t think locktite is necessary.
