      I have a Chevy Malibu 2001 3.1 v6 87,000 miles
the problem that I’m having is the throttle position sensor
I have checked all the wires in the harnesses everything is okay
I did a diagnostic scan and here is the number that came up
RPM at 708 the TP is 0.0% and at a high RPM 1946 it is showing 0.9% which I think is okay
I don’t know what to do now. Any suggestions . I cleaned the throttle body would cause for that code to keep coming up.P0113

P0113 = Intake Air Temp High on your car, not TPS. If your scanner measures live data check the IAT sensor value. If it’s showing something crazy like 140f or much higher or lower than ambient temp disconnect it and jump the terminals on the sensor plug end. It should read around -40f.

Trace the wiring back to make sure there are no faults. If the values are not close you could have a defective PCM. If they are close to the suggestions replace the sensor.

++++1 on the above. The code p0113 refers to the IAT sensor
          not TPS.
