Throttle position problem

      do you have a check engine light? if so post code. check to_x000D_
      see if the mat is not interfering with the gas pedal. remove_x000D_
      the air plenum and check for obstructions. Hot off the press heres a video that_x000D_

        Check to see if your throttle linkage is properly adjusted, check for binding. Or does that have drive-by-wire….. I’m not real sure.

          its more than likely drive by wire. unfortunatly, all these new cars

            If it’s a drive by wire system you may be having a problem with that.

                toyota had alot of recalls on the pedals._x000D_
                you could have a problem with the pedal not_x000D_
                giving the correct signal to the throttle body._x000D_
                Have you looked at the TB air shutter? it maybe_x000D_
                getting stuck. if you do clean this Don’t remove it._x000D_

                  I would check sensor under gas pedal, and i would check the throttle body,i believe the tps is built into the TB.._x000D_

                      If it’s a drive by wire system, there will be separate sensors at the pedal and at the throttle body.

                        I will suggest that you don’t clean the throttle body as I believe it is a DBW system, these require special procedures for cleaning and should not be messed with otherwise.
