Do a leak down test to see where the compression is being lost. Intake, Exhaust or Crankcase. Intake or Exhaust might indicate bent valves (timing jumped). Possibly a bad compression tester? I would check it. No way all valves would fail without timing chain jumping time at the crankshaft. If one of the cams sliped you would only loose the valves on one side.

Timing belt jumped and bent the valves

nope not bad tester thats the first thing i thought… well it seems the v6 dodge, and prolly others have clockwise and counterclockwise rotation on the water pumps.Noticed a new water pump has been installed and we guessing that is is wrong rotation because this engine has been boiled dry and blew up…heads warped and cracked.. both of em prolly the worse case of overheating i have ever seen.. I was impressed at the destruction of the block,, heads and just the way that she said it quit.. im guessing it was very different then just a pop and it stopped i would say massive loss of power then maybe the pop and stop because i have never seen anything tore up like this before and i have been working on this stuff for 30 years…Anyway we get the privaledge of installing a new used engine…. just hope this install goes better then the one i done on the honda and i’m sure it will, cant get bit two times in less then a month… I hope

Talk about people being wrong/lying about what happened to their cars. I know someone who said their engine just wouldn’t start one morning, and it turns out they blew THREE rods.

That’s quite a story thanks for sharing. I’m glad you’re going with a used engine as it doesn’t sound like the one you have is worth fixing.

                          Thanks for the post.
