Slime is a tire sealant product, you put the stuff inside the tire and if you get a nail or something in it the liquid will seal the hole.
I have never used the stuff on car tires and I am not too sure that it would be a good. But I have used it on mountain bike tires.
Normally I use a product called Stans No Tubes, this stuff is very good, no need to fit a inner tube into the tire and it will seal punctures up to a half inch in length. Always carry a tube in case this happens but thorn punctures are a thing of the past. Of course you need a flap to cover any spoke nipple holes or tubeless rims, but you can run with lower pressure in the tire and not risk pinch punctures in the tubes if you hit a rock or something.
Stans is a quite thin liquid with latex in it.
The slime is thicker and it is bright green in colour. I have used it inside a tube and got a thorn in the tire, some green came out and it sealed. Think that is too thick to use without a tube unless the tire + rim is tubeless in the first place, as cars are. You can get tubeless mountain bike tires but they are as heavy and have side walls as thick as a tire with tube, so no real advantage.
Using it in a car tire I think you would have to use quite a lot and this could create some balance problems, probably better in an off-road truck than a sport car.

It does. All “fix a flat” style chemicals are supposed to be a temp repair, to get you to a tire repair shop.
