I’ve been meaning to write a set of laws for the hammer, but I ran out of imagination after these two:
Law #1: No matter how technology changes, there still isn’t much that can’t be solved with the sensible and practical application of a bigger hammer.
Law #2: If it didn’t require brutal hammer force to remove it, it usually won’t require brutal hammer force to put it back in.
A friend gave me this one.
Law #3: When you have a hammer in your hand, everything looks like a nail.
Just thought of another…
Law #4: No matter who you are, you will introduce a hammer to one or more of your fingers at an undesirable velocity at least once in your lifetime.
What’s your law of the hammer?
