It’s a performance street setup he’s going with, not an autocross setup. For an autocross setup, Eric would have gone with a manual trans from the factory. He would have done a few autocross events first. Then, he would do the suspension mods next. With an autocross setup, you don’t have to buy everything at once, plus, most people will need/want the shocks and springs to be much stiffer than a performance street setup, and it could make the ride harsh for driving outside of racing. Most importantly, the tires he’s going to run are too hard a compound to compete with.
