someone at one time put a large sticker over the pass.airbag cover on top the dash. Tried several things to get the sticky glue off . I did find something but as the glue came of the area became black . Where ever the glue comes off it leaves a black spot . My interior color is camel. Has any one ever experienced this?

Not sure if this will damage/discolor the dash but, you can try Goo Gone. Any citric acid based cleaner should work but, GooGone is specifically made for sticker residue.
I would spot test before going too far with it. You can also normally get it at Walmart or Home Depot. I would also get Scott’s Shop Towels or use an old wash cloth with it. It will dissolve the sticker residue but, it normally remains kinda tacky which will destroy and make a mess of regular paper towels. They are also sold at the places listed above. You also do not want to let it sit long with it being a dash as I said before it may damage/discolor the dash.
Everybody has a can of WD40 somewhere. It works great for removing adhesive residue.
If you’re one of the six people on the planet without WD40, anything oily, like cooking oil or margarine, will work too.
