Thanks did my repair and saved $200+

Thanks to Eric and his video’s for both inspiration and education.

I replaced the water pump in my 1998 Mercury Mystique. I saved
$200+ which will go to pay the family bills.

I’m not mechanical but wanted to try to save money where I can.

I did get both the Motor (professional service trade edition) and the
chilton manual from the local public library which were a big help for
those unique circumstances that car throws at me. Other than the
mind teaser getting the water pump out.. it was easy. Next time I’ll
know it’ll only take me 10 minutes to change the serpentine belt too..
so easy – can’t believe I paid someone to change that.

It also paid off looking for the best place to buy parts as well so I’m
not overcharged there.

Thanks again, I’m glad to have Eric around and the stay dirty forum.
