Testing the Battery, Alternator, Starter Etc

I saw some excellent videos by Eric on testing the Alternator, Starter, Battery and the entire Starting System. Today I came across the following video. Please let me know if this is a more effective way of dealing with the starting system. Everything seems to be able to be done with one unit.

You can use a 60 US $ complete multimeter to do the test.

The PDF file show to you the voltage and Amp you need on a battery and alternator.
