i received a letter from honda corp saying to take my car to a honda dealer and replace the rear control arms because its causing uneven tire wear and roaring noises at highway speeds, but i wanted to ask if anybody has gone down to the dealer with a salvage title and did the job. BTW my car is a 2006 civic cpe

A tsb is not a recall. With that said. I have never
been asked for a title when having work done or recall
work done.
