I am not having any luck finding GM Syncromesh transmission fluid for my 94 Honda like Eric suggests using. Oreily autoparts is trying to sale me Valvoline Synchromesh fluid as the same product. Is the Valvoline fluid the same or a suitable substitute?

You can find Gm synchromesh at the dealer or an ACdelco representative. Amsoil and penzoil have product that are an alternative.

I just ordered some gm synchromesh friction modified from ebay. You might be able to get it from a dealer also. I believe they’re labeled as acdelco now.

A reliable source told me that Pennzoil make the fluid for G.M. (This month) at least.
