However, usually it would throw a CEL if a sensor is at fault.July 18, 2012 at 11:00 am #463776where are them pics of that sensor you talked about in the other thread?
July 18, 2012 at 11:00 am #463777@dreamer2355- I have no idea what that test is but if theres not check engine light ill move on. The biggest thing I’m focusing on is that it is definitely when the car goes from open to closed loop.

July 20, 2012 at 11:00 am #463780July 20, 2012 at 11:00 am #463781really at this point i feel you may need a scope to ferther diagnose this issue. if i remember right you checked all mechanical timing and did a proper tune up and had good fuel pressure? since it is not consistant with anything really other then the comp
July 21, 2012 at 11:00 am #463782Ive tried the throttle body cleaner vacuum method a few times now. I did not try the fuel pressure test though. I got the guage and although the seller said it worked on my car it did not fit so I sent it back. But eric said its a waste of time looking th

for the most part yea!!July 23, 2012 at 11:00 am #463783If the O2 readings are normal then I don’t think there’s a problem there even as it crosses into closed loop.
July 23, 2012 at 11:00 am #463784Yup, we did but we kinda went around it cuz the IAC would cause a check engine light. I can take a look at it but its a hard thing to get out. Someone suggested loosening to mounting brackets to tip the engine forward so that I can reach back there to get
July 23, 2012 at 11:00 am #463785You can do that but it may not be as bad as you think, a 12mm wrench usually does the trick for me._x000D_

I have another event that may narrow this down. The idling issues have stopped for now. The only thing that isJuly 27, 2012 at 11:00 am #463789Honda MAP sensors hardly ever have a problem so if you have damaged wiring I would suggest repairing that properly (soldering it) and then recheck for the symptom.
