Subaru Outback 2000 shudders when stopped

Ok guys, new here and I have just bought a second hand Subaru Outback 2000 wagon
I’m loving it, apart from the shudder that happens when i’m stopped. I have also noticed that it doesnt have a lot of go when i put my foot to the floor. I’m hoping i havent been ripped off and bought a car with a dodgy transmission or something.

Anyway, any help will be greatly recommended

Before going any further with the transmission, I would suggest you check your engine mounts. If they are badly worn, it will be noticeable at a full stop and even in park with the engine running. Keep us posted.
