Stud came out changing 97 Accord oil pan gasket

I was replacing the oil pan gasket this morning on my 97 Accord 2.2L non-VTEC. When removing the oil pan bolts and nuts, one of the studs came out too. Can I use a couple nuts as a jamb nut no the stud and just torque the stud back to the same 14 Nm (10 Ft/Lbs)the oil pan bolts are tightened too?

You should be able to put them back in with the double nut method.
You could add some red loctite.

I’d rather not use Loktite anywhere close to oils – or any hot fluids for that matter. It dissolves quite easy.
Get some yellow Teflon tape, in plumbers department of HomeDepot. It’s oil resistant. If you are in no rush and have time, de-greasing stud threads and seat and packing it with red gasket sealant has same effect, but you then must give it curing time. Overnight best.

Fine by me. I use Loktite basically daily at work. Blue, red and black, black being pretty much a super glue and blue being the least holding one. This is why I said what I said. Called experience.
Btw, Teflon tape will also re-snug your threads. Loktite will NOT, as it does not add any to threads thickness. There is some reason, that stud came out, right?
But decisions are made, then life will show.
