Hey I just bought a 1994 honda civic ex for 500 dollars i was gonna put new brakes and rotors on it but i found out that i couldnt get the wheel off. yes ive tried beating the shit outta it with a sledge and it still wont come off. Its rusted to the hub. i dont have many tools to remove the tirre like this so do you guys know what is should do. Im trashing the rims anyway so all suggestions are welcome even if it means destroying the rim or tire haha. thanks in advance guys.

if all the lugs are off, try spraying some penetrating oil like WD-40 on the wheel lugs and let them sit, tap the wheel lugs with a hammer themselves see if you can break any rust loose, put the lug nuts over the lugs so you don’t goober up the threads… but don’t hit the lugs so hard you drive them out. basically you are trying to break loose anything rust or corrosion might be…

Try putting the lugs on loosely, and then driving the car in a circle very slowly. The weight of the car should brake the wheel off.

            +1 penetrating oil.

Does the rotor have 2 threaded holes ( not the ones for rotor assembly screws)? If so, you can slowly tighten 2 bolts (M8x1.25 I believe) to push the rotor off the hub.
