2001 taurus… just had the rear struts replaced with monroe quick struts, my prob. is that the pass. rear now has a thump when going over speed bumps, it does not do this a …VERY LOW SPEEDS…but if I go over them like usual slow speed a loud thump comes from pass. rear never did this before I did notice that the mec .tightened the the top of the assembly while still on the lift, I have heard that final tightening should be done with tires on the ground, I can’t see him until Mon. afternoon, my ? could this be caused by not being tightened properly…or could it be something else…am I ok to drive until then ? other than that, car seem to drive well, Thank you for any help.

If the noise was not there before I would recheck the work or back to the mechanic
