1994 Integra, non-VTEC, 5 speed.
Car died on highway at some point, with no strange noises or slow power loss, almost like I suddenly lost spark. No start at home, naturally. No CEL / codes (bulb working properly). Checked spark, fuel, air – all good. Tested distributor, replaced ICM and a few other parts even though they tested perfectly. I am sure I put it back together correctly. No change.
Decided to do a compression test, because I was at a loss. I had no clue what I was doing. As such, I forgot to open throttle. Car was cold, since I can’t start it. Dry test.
No one on my usual forums can tell me what I am looking at, so I decided to go to the experts – been watching eric’s videos for ages. Here is my strange compression test.
Also, I know you are supposed to crank it 3-5 times. Subsequently, my camera died, but I got up to 165 (+/5) psi in each cylinder, at this weird, slow pace.
Norms for my car:
nominal: 199 psi
minimum: 135 psi
max var: 28 psiCan anyone experienced with these tell me what this tells them? Thank you in advance.
