Sticking Brakes

Have a hopefully quick question about my brakes. I have a 2004 Mazda3s hatchback. I changed out the front and rear brakes, brake fluid and rear rotors. A couple of days after changing those I noticed the rear brakes were sticking, seems like it happens when I first start driving and seems to only last a couple of minutes. That said,I’m sure it’s not good for the new brake pads. The car is a 5 speed manual and normally I use the parking brake so my first thought was the parking brake was too tight although I didn’t adjust that. Several ppl who have driven my car have told me they thought the parking brake was too tight as it was. To test out the P/B theory I parked the car and just left it in gear twice without the parking brake being on. Both times the car was parked for several hours. Turns out the same thing is happening, the rear brakes seem to be sticking a little. By sticking I mean they are making a high pitch piercing noise, not like a grinding noise. Not sure what the deal is if it still somehow could be the parking brake or a new warped rotor or bad calipers? Thanks for any advice you might have to offer!

You might have a bad caliper.

It could be a bad caliper but you also need to make sure you service the caliper when you install new brake pads. This video should show what I mean.
