Hello. I have a Honda Accord v6. My steering wheel shakes left to right on acceleration ONLY, at any speed. No shake whatsoever when coasting or braking. When accelerating the shake is barely noticeable below ~20% throttle and becomes more violent as throttle position increases. Any ideas of what this could be?

I suspect you have a bad drive axle or engine mount.

How can I check for a bad axle and engine mount? The axle boots have no rips in them and don’t click around corners.

rotate your tires to see if the problem goes away.
if so have your wheels speed balanced.

Rotated my tires and still have the same problem.

To me it sounds like an inner CV joint problem or an axle center bearing problem. In short, I’d be taking a close look at the axles for the problem.

Doesnt sound tranny related, i agree with the others, check the axels. You may have a stiff cv joint pushing and pulling on a wheel.
