I drove my wife’s 2008 Chrysler T&C with 83k miles the other day (I drive a ’02 Accord with 175k — runs like a Swiss watch 🙂 ). The steering wheel pulses when turned slightly to the right (although not to the left), and I can feel it grabbing as it returns from a full right turn (although not left). This is around town at low speeds so not a tire balance problem, and the brakes are fine. Fluid is fine, and I’ve replaced it a couple times using Eric’s method. And no steering or pulling issues on the highway. Any ideas? (And while we’re at it, any tips on getting rid of power steering fluid odor from the wife’s turkey baster 😛 )

You may want to inspect the cv joints + boots. As for the turkey baster smell.
You owe her a new turkey baster. 😉

Thanks for the advice, and the timing couldn’t be better, what with my wife’s birthday coming up 😆

I don’t have any advice on the van, but do the smart thing and just get the wife a new turkey baster.

Pro Tip: Buy your wife more than a turkey baster for her birthday. For your own sake.
