I am looking for a way to start a car without using jumper cables, just in case there is no other vehicle around. I want something for cold temp. of 20 degrees F and MUCH COLDER. I have seen the Halo bolt and other lithium ion devices. I have also looked at the Stanley fatmax 1400 which I believe is really a SEALED lead acid battery that you charge once a month to keep it at peak. I have seen the Halo type devices start a vehicle when the temp. is not too cold. On you tube I saw a video of a test of those under – 24 degrees conditions to test their sustained current output (amps). Any thoughts or experiences with any of these devices?
