You might want to start with checking the mechanical timing so check the marks on the cam and crank to make sure they line up. Also not a bad idea to check the compression to make sure the engine is in good shape. Lastly I’d be checking for vacuum leaks and voltage leaks, here are some videos. BTW I would strongly recommend you using OE parts for the ignition system as I’ve seen problems caused by some aftermarket parts.
