My 98 civic stabilizer bar end bushings need replacing so I was looking the procedure in the service manual.

Where are they saying to add grease to exactly? Where the washers meet? And I’m guessing this is only done during installation not a maintenance thing as there aren’t any fittings for grease guns

Lubricate the bushings wherever they come into contact with a metal component, including inside the central bores.

Where they meet metal components. Most stabilizer links I see these days dont look like these but I guess you have a lesser chance of these going bad

Thanks and only when installing correct not a maintenance thing?

I ask because the service manual just has that pic I posted it’s not part of a replacement procedure
