SRS after relay failure

Ok so I have a 97 civic that I was working on. I have done everything I can to get this car functional but when the whole cooling fan system failed, I needed to run a hot wire to the fan. Everything was wired up correctly but I noticed that the dashboard and all weather controls were knot working. After seeing that the cigarette lighter, radio, ac control fuse was blown I replaced it and everything worked like a charm. Relay is not present on the vehicle anymore as that is what caused everything to short out in the first place and the fan now has a manual switch so there is no need to for if to be there. My question is what could be wrong with the SRS? There are two fuses that go to the SRS system. One is dedicated to it which is a 10 amp fuse. The other is shared with the fuel pump. Both of those fuses are good. What else would affect it?
Thank you for your help guys.

have you check the relay and seen if it was really bad also you might want to check with an ohm metter and see if the postive on the relay is shorted to grnd….just disconnect the battory when you do it… test both sides of the coil’s positive aka inputs of the coils
could of just been the relay sorted it self out and is broken inside

I kicked myself when I realized all I had to do was reset the thing. Pull the yellow cable at the far right of the fuse box under the driver side. short it out and turn the key to on position. it will come off. disconnect then reconnect the short. It will blink twice to confirm reset. Done. lol thank you for your advice though. Definitely want to check fuses and relays next.
