Ever change your water pump or mess with your coolant and get some on your belt by accident? We all know how bad the squealing can be afterwards! I read all this stuff on line about people putting dielectric grease, belt dressing, or bar soap on their belts, but you know what I found works the best? Get a warm, soapy bucket of water (I used dawn dish soap) and a hose. Take your belt off and clean all your pullys really good with either the soapy water or something like rubbing alcohol. Put the belt in the bucket and wash it really good with a scrubby pad, then rinse it off and put it back on. Problem solved!
