Hey Eric great video! i have a problem with my 1998 Ford Escort ZX2, i replaced my spark plugs a few days ago, the old ones where Autolite Platinum, i replaced them with recommended Bosch Double Spark, when i took it for a drive, the motor wasn’t acting normal, it would vibrate in an odd way and would have an extremely hard time accelerating so i put in the old ones back but the motor is doing the exact same thing, i found some oil on the 4th spark plug, what do you think is causing the problem? a friend said it might be the Spark Boot or the wire following it, but he mentioned it can be something more complicated like the piston shooting oil into the spark plug chamber through a crack, i need help 🙁

You really should stick with autolite. For the oil
on #4 spark plug.Try doing a compression test on
#4 also do all the cylinders for comparison.

          recheck the firing order.

Also, check the spark plug wires. They can wear out and get brittle. Perhaps removing/replacing the plugs caused some internal cracking…

Perhaps replacing the spark plug wires would fix the problem.
