Some catergories

Just a suggestion
In Stay Dirty Lounge/Service and Repair Questions Answered Here section
I think there should be some catergories like:
– Engine,driveline
– exhaust,intake
– interior,exterior
– Wheels, Brakes & Suspension
– Audio & Electrical
So that users can find things easier and saves having repeated questions
Just an idea.

Well, that’s what the search function is for. When you do a search it combs through all the forum posts and lets you know exactly what’s been posted and gives you a direct link to it. All you need to do is type in a couple of key words into the search box at the top of the forum or anyplace you see a search box and those posts will come up.

Yeah but if I just wanted to browse through say just engine related problems that might be the same as mine but dont know what to put in the search function.
I would just start a new thread and probably be asking the same question that has be answer on multiple times.

Use key words just like for google. Engine noise, engine problem, rough engine. At this point it would be beyond difficult to categorize the posts the way you suggest. The only way that would work is to have a category for each automotive issue and that would fill up the forum pretty fast. The search function works, you just need to practice with it a little bit.
