      Hi Eric,
First, thank you for the service you provide.
I have a 97 Honda Accord 4cylinder automatic. I’ve watched all your videos on
idle issues which have helped. The issue I have now is.. when I’m stopped and still in
drive and I push the door lock knob to lock the door the idle fluctuates for the lenght
of time I have my finger on the knob. The idle will also fluctuate just a bit when
stopped in drive and I turn the lights on (not as much as with the door knob but still
      noticable. Any ideas?

One more thing, I adjusted the the idle screw to bring up the rpms (before) I saw your
comment DO NOT adjust the idle screw. Am I past the point where I can put it back
where it was and act like I never messed with it.

Again, thanks so much for the service you provide.

        Hello.

You should check you alternator and the Load detector unit on your car.

The sympthomps you describe are indicating you that the charging aystem has some problems

Start here: turn on the engine and meassure thr voltage of the battery it shoukd be above 13.9 v.
        If not alternator problem.

If its above the 13.9 v turn some load on: lihgt, radio, if the voltage drops down load detector unit and maybe idle IAC valve.

        Hope this helps
