      Hello guys,

So i have an issue with the brakes…
Last year at summer i changed all the rotors and brake pads on my 2000 Opel Zafira everything went smooth as silk and everything was fine up until now.

Rattling comes out of front drivers wheel while driving on rough terrain, bumps. When i press the brake pedal while driving on terrain mentioned earlier the rattling goes away completely. Also when i kick the wheel while standing it makes the same noise just it appears to be not so loud compared to while driving.

I have 2 ideas to what could be the problem:
      1. caliper bracket got loose
      2. Brake pad anti-rattle spring/holder broke

P.S. sorry guys for my imperfect english 🙂

Check your hub bearing by jacking up the vehicle and rocking the tire from side to side and up and down. Another thing to check, is the caliper bolts, and the sliders for the caliper. Pull the wheel off and rock the caliper from side to side to see if there is any play.

I was planing to check everything related to the caliper tomorrow because it’s kind of late in my country at the moment. Anyway thanks for the idea to check hub also. I will definitely check every possible thing on the rattling side.

I will reply here with my findings tomorrow 🙂

            Just returned from garage.
I found that brakes wasn’t the issue, the issue was that suspension spring broke, a small part of it to be exact so i’m attaching the photo for you guys to see what caused a huge rattling noise while driving for me.

Now the car will get a suspension job for sure, it already was kind of required for the rear but now all springs and shocks will be replaced and bushings of course 🙂

So anyway thanks for your advice 🙂

Yea, that’ll do it. Here’s some more suggestions if you run into a problem like that in the future.
